Meaning: “Star of God”
Origin: Possibly Hebrew
Other forms of the name: Kokablel, Kochab, Kochbiel
Kokabiel is the name of a fallen angel who supposedly taught mankind astrology. He is mentioned as number four of the twenty watcher leaders of the fallen angels in “The Book of Enoch”. He is also considered the angel of stars. In “The Book of the Angel Raziel” he is a holy angel, though he is generally considered a fallen one. Kokabiel is said to lead an army of 365,000 spirits.
I couldn’t find much about him, as he seems to be a pretty obscure angel. Kokabiel comes from the Hebrew kokhabiel.
